Terms and Conditions


All prices are per person, taxes included. The Child’s fee applies only when the children are sharing a room with a maximum occupancy of four people including children. 

HOTELS: 

The hotels offered may vary according to availability, if the program hotels can not be offer another hotel of similar or equal category will be reserved, these will be specified in the confirmation of services. 

We do not accept claims from passengers who have not been notified by their travel agency the hotel changes in their program at time of confirmation.

TRANSFERS: 
These programs include transfers in and out, which are provided both during the day, usually from 07:00 to 21:00 hrs. In the event that the train arrives with considerable delay, passengers must take a taxi on their own, and we will refund the amount directly to the passenger. 

The services will be provided at Vans, Suburban, or bus, as appropriate, all with air conditioning and heating. 

RAIL:
 
The tickets included in these packages are in First Class. As travel agents we do NOT OPERATE economic class or are authorized to issue tickets with discounts of Seniors, students, teachers, etc.

VALIDITY OF TICKET.  The ticket is valid for only the date specified on it. The ticket should present no emendations or deletions, so it should be kept in good conditions, we suggest you to review it upon receipt and retain it in a safe place, in case of loss or having any of the conditions specified above, a fee will be charged directly on the train. 

Do not release from the original coupon any of its segments, otherwise you will NOT be accepted for travel and / or for any refund. (Destination, Stops, date, Time of Departure, Ticket Price).

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE. The train accepts one piece of personal baggage with a maximum weight of 50 kg per person, baggage that is not supported by their size, type, weight or packaging, is not accepted for transportation. 

TRAVEL INSURANCE.
In terms of train regulations, passengers and their baggage are protected with insurance costs, from the moment they take the train until they descend. To make valid the insurance is essential to present their train ticket in good conditions.

AVAILABILITY. The Company reserves the rights to change the wagons capacity, accommodating users in the available seats. 

SCHEDULES AND ROUTES. Operating routes and schedules are subject to change without notice.

RESTRICTIONS. No smoking in the cars, not food and beverage consumption allowed in passenger cars, only to car-snack or dining room. 

SPECIAL NOTE OF LIABILITY. All trains are subject to schedule changes, delays in route due to weather conditions or force majeure, in which case it’s not possible to make any action against the train company. When any of these situations appears Ferromex personnel will make the necessary adjustments to solve the problem. The use of any portion of the ticket would mean the acceptance of the passenger to these rules and conditions.

DEPOSITS AND TOTAL PAYMENTS:
Will be indicated at the time of the confirmation of services.

CANCELlATIONS:
It’s responsibility of the travel agent or the passenger to cancel every service that is not accepted within the time specified at the confirmation. If no cancelation is made the cancellation policies are the following:

a) Cancellation between 15 and 10 days before departure will be charged 25%.
b) Within 9 days prior to departure will be charged 50%.
c) Passengers who do not appear the day of departure will be charged 100%

Services not used are not refundable. Cancellation policies may change according to the Season, they will be indicated at the time of the confirmation.

TIPS:
Tips for drivers, tour guide and porters are not included and are up to discretion of the client.

All the time passengers must take responsibility for their hotel and train tickets coupons.
