DAY 1 CHIHUAHUA
Arrival to Chihuahua City Airport. Transfer to Hotel, Check in, Guided City Tour visiting: Downtown, Cathedral Church, Murals at State Goverment Building, Quinta Gameros museum, Pancho Villa’s House Museum, Colonial aqueduct and surrounding areas.
DAY 2 CHIHUAHUA – BASASEACHI – CREEL
Breakfast at the Hotel, meet in the hotel lobby at 9:00 in the morning and took the transportation that will take you to Basaseachi Falls National Park.
Arrival around 13:00 hrs. The environment consists of forests pine trees and gullies with tiny cultivated valleys. Before reaching the bottom, the river flow increases with Basaseachi flow of two streams, so that, especially during the rainy season the river rushing towards an abyss of 807 ft. high is the largest waterfall in the country. The trails are ideal for those who like to walk through the woods and to be in direct contact with nature. It has excellent views of the waterfall and the Candameña Canyon. Departure to Creel. Arrival around 19:00 hrs. Check in at Hotel.
DAY 3 CREEL – GUACHOCHI – CREEL
Breakfast at the Hotel. Departure at 09:00 hrs. to Guachochi, “land of herons”, as Tarahumara language means. It is located at 11 mi. at the Sinforosa Canyon considered the "Queen of the Canyons". Presents its maximum height of 6004 ft.. Time for lunch (lunch on your own), return to Creel, at 15:00 hrs. Arrival at 18:00 hrs. Free afternoon, we recommend you to visit the traditional handicraft shops with articles produced by the Tarahumara Indians.
DAY 4 CREEL – COPPER CANYON
Breakfast at Hotel in Creel. Bus tour to Arareko Lake and its surroundigs, visiting: The frogs and mushrooms valley (rock formations), Old Church of San Ignacio (once Jesuit missions headquarter), and an inhabited cave. (The tour can be take the day before so you can have a free morning).Transfer to train Station, boarding at 11:35 hrs to to the worldwide famous "Copper Canyon" located on the middle of the Tarahumara Sierra Madre.Arrival at 13:30 hrs. Check in. At mid-afternoon walking tour to Tarahumara’s caves where you will appreciate the lifestyle of this ethnic group, one of the most primitive tribes in Mexico. Dinner at the Hotel.
DAY 5 COPPER CANYON – CHIHUAHUA
Breakfast at hotel. Walking tour to "Piedra Volada" mirador. This is a very pleasant walk to enjoy and admire the junction of the three main Canyons, Urique, Tararecua and Copper Canyon. It’s the perfect place for panoramic views and beautiful pictures. Lunch at the Hotel, departure by train at 12:50 hrs to Chihuahua City. Arrival at 22:30 hrs. Transfer to the Hotel. Check in.
DAY 6 CHIHUAHUA
Breakfast at the Hotel. Transfer to Chihuahua City Airport.
